Maestro - Lewisham

Small restaurant in London that offers a superb package for a typical English breakfast. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

Maestro Bar is a small restaurant located in the neighborhood of Belgravia in London. We stumbled upon it because it was conveniently close to our hotel while we were looking for a good spot for breakfast. The restaurant has a counter where you can place your order, and the food is brought to your table as there are only a few available for seating. This spot is popular among locals, and we found that we were often the only tourists there. While they primarily focus on takeout orders, we found it to be a wonderful spot for breakfast. We typically ordered variations of their English breakfast, and they were accommodating with any substitutions we requested. The cappuccinos they served were the best we had during our travels. Although the restaurant is not particularly fancy, the staff were friendly and the breakfast options were reasonably priced and satisfying.

I am a fish lover, and in my 29 years, I have never had better fish than what I had at this restaurant! The service may be a bit slow, but trust me, savoring a beer while you wait is worth it. My boyfriend, who lived in Cameroon for 2 years, also loved his n'dole dish. The setting of the restaurant may not be traditional, but don't let that scare you away. The fish here is definitely worth a visit!

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante grazie ad una nostra amica che risiede a Londra. Il locale è un po hardcore , soprattutto i bagni... difficilmente dall 'aspetto esterno lo si sceglierebbe a scatola chiusa. Ma la cucina è fantastica, specialità Camerunensi. Da provare il pesce fritto con ratatouille (bar o tilapia). L 'attesa per i piatti è stata però infinita, circa un 'ora e mezza! Pare sia consigliabile comunicare al momento della prenotazione i piatti principali scelti. Per fortuna che il sapore ti riconcilia un po e il fatto di aspettare così tanto testimoni che (si spera) sia tutto cucinato al.momento. Prezzo ottimo : in 3 con antipasto e main course a testa, una bottiglia di vino, 62 pounds.
