Bidra med feedbackLived in beckenham for years and rarely visited this one. On my way home from a long trip and they were the only local restaurant that said they’d stay open to make me a meal. Just a simple order of rice and curry. It was ready and hot and hit the mark. Staff delightful. Recommend .
I went with 8 people and had a very large order it was all ready in the estimated time given and the food was delicious
I have been ordering food from this restaurant for the past 8 years and always get the same dish, the Dhansak. I cannot speak to the delivery service as I used to live nearby. If the owner is reading this, they may recognize me as I have been a loyal customer for quite some time. The Dhansak has remained consistently delicious over the years and has even improved to perfection, thanks to me. Despite moving away, I continue to make the journey to collect my order because I have yet to find a Dhansak as good elsewhere. While there have been some negative reviews about the service, I have personally seen how busy their kitchen gets and have no complaints. I highly recommend this place, they also make a fantastic garlic rice.
3.5 hrs between ordering and receiving food. When I confronted the delivery man about the poor customer service he argued with me, no apologies. I said I wouldn’t be paying for the food so he took the food back! Restaurant were not picking up customer calls either (I know this because just eat advisors just through on the same number, but I couldn’t! . Terrible customer service.
The food here is very nice, loads of flavour and great taste however what let them down with my rating was the poor service I received. The staff here could be a bit apologetic for their own mistakes. I ordered for a specific time and they delivered one hour early, I was still out and received a call from the driver saying he was outside, I arranged to collect my order from the shop and when I got home my food was cold. It appears they left it to stand for an hour even though I was promised a fresh batch. No apology. They have lost a loyal customer to one of their competitors up the road.
