Pros: The food was excellent and the service was friendly. Cons: The price for a glass of wine was outrageously high for mediocre quality. It would have been better to purchase a bottle instead. I believe that when a restaurant already charges high prices for their food (which I don't mind in this case because the food was delicious and worth it), they should not overcharge for drinks as well.
I used to work at this restaurant in 2003 as a training assistant manager. It was an amazing experience in my life. Many thanks to Master Chef Bruce Wass and General Manager Robert, also known as Bob the Snob. Thank you to all the great people there for their talent, experience, and patience in teaching others the love of service and culinary treasures. I have traveled a lot and started my own business in the sunny and friendly Caribbean islands. Thank you for all your teachings. Bless you and best regards. This was 20 years ago.
Been here a few times over the summer and had fabulous beer in a fabulous garden. Saturday we came for a meal. Wonderful, yes on the high side of price from other pubs around but the food the atmosphere and environment made very good value. 100% recommend! Service: 5 Location: 5
