The Bull - Lewes

Booked a table for 11 adults, 1 infant and a baby. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent with a variety of choices. The service was fantastic and we never felt rushed. Would definitely go there again.

We stopped in The Bull after a long day of walking in the area and had a great early dinner. My wife and I got great food recommendations from the young woman behind the bar and the food beer did not disappoint. We would recommend this pub highly.

4 Adults. Starters were OK. Mains 2 x Welsh Lamb Shoulder Pappardelle (All we could taste was spicy food, seriously lacking in taste. 2 x Alden’s of Oxford Ox Cheek Pie (no taste, Ive had better Aldi Pies). Website says Best Pub Food in Ditchling. If The Bull is this Bad I have my doubts about eating anywher else in Ditchling. Very Poor food quality. Will never go back again.

Great Sunday lunch, a little different from the usual which we all appreciated. Fantastic staff and pleasant ambience. The only reason it’s not 5 stars are the chairs! We were in the newer part of the venue and the chairs felt like old cinema seats where your backside was too close to the floor! They really need more than a cushion please. Otherwise really enjoyed.

Despite being muddy walkers, our group were all very pleased with our lunch at The Bull. The staff and atmosphere was so welcoming. Despite being thirteen , the lunches were served at the same time and ranged from Sunday roasts to lighter lunches. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and we will certainly visit The Bull again. Thank you all.
