Despite my booking for the 12th april 2021, hixon green was not open?

A great place to lunch. good selection of dressed, all for cheap trips.

We had the roast beef which was amazing. Highly recommend this place for a Sunday roast

Sunday lunch at Hixon Green is really good. The chef uses herbs and I really like eating vegetables al dente. Quite often vegetables can be over cooked, but that is never the case here. My friend ordered Eton Mess, which she found disappointing. I had brownie and ice cream, which was fair, as the brownie was a little dry. However, my other friend had fruit crumble which she said was excellent. We are all so sorry you have to close during lockdown.

From entering the tiles around the bar were very grubby all the floors look like they haven’t been cleaned in a long while. It took 50 mins for our brunch order for 3 people to arrive. Not an easy wait with a 2 yo to entertain. The staff were very pleasant though but not sure I would feel the need to go back in a hurry unfortunately.
