Burgerhof - Leverkusen

Burgerhoft Hotel is very small, but it is clean and very nicely furnished. You can say it was recently renovated. The hotel offers a small continental breakfast buffet, but there is something for every taste: cold meat, cheese, cakes, cooked eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereals, bread and so on. This hotel is located next to the Cologne Cathedral and just a few minutes' walk from the main shopping street. Disadvantages: Some members of staff did not speak English, so it was hard to find answers to some questions, especially when we looked at them. There were no employees who were present after 6:00 (you get a key from the back door to leave yourself) that made us insecure, especially when we heard some fights and beat noises from below / other room late in the evening. Late checkout was not an option that was very uncomfortable to us as our flight back home was late at night. It did not disturb us, but it is worth noting that there was no kettle in the room and the size of the toiletries was smaller than in the hotels and there was no toothpaste delivered. All in all, it is a very nice hotel and brilliant value for money. Would stay back!

The hotel is small, but it is obvious that it was recently renovated. Very good service, clean and good customer service. Breakfast was also included. The only problem was that it had no elevator, but everything else was good.

Den Burgerhof hatte ich von vor Jahren als spießig und lieblos gestaltet in Erinnerung. Umso größer war die Überraschung bei meinem letzten Besuch. Eine schöne Inneneinrichtung, ein schöner Biergarten und vor allem eine neue Speisekarte die keine Wünsche offen lässt, Sollte dennoch mal ein Spezialwunsch vorhanden sein, wird dieser prompt umgesetzt. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Aber erst das Essen. Wer den Burgerhof-Burger mit perfekten, frischen Buns aufessen kann ist ein Held. Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte mit Freunden probiert und waren ausnahmslos begeistert und das bei einem sehr fairen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Es ist eine Dorfkneipe, in die ich immer gerne einkehre, wenn ich Lust auf eine richtig gute große Portion Currywurst/Pommes habe. Für 5,50 € wirst du pappsatt. Auch sehr zu empfehlen ist das Gulasch. Super zart. Dazu gibt's leckeres Gilden und ein nettes Gespräch. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Hotel offers a small continental breakfast buffet, but there is a little something for everyone' taste: cold meats, cheeses, pate, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurts, cereal, bread and etc.The high of this hotel is the location - it's right next to Cologne Cathedral and only few minutes of walk from the main shopping street. Disadvantages: some members of the staff didn't speak English, therefore it was hard to communicate and find answers to some questions, especially when we were checking in. There were no staff members present after 6pm (you are given a key from the back door to let yourself in), which made us insecure, especially when we heard some fighting and banging noises from downstairs/other room late in the evening.Late checking-out wasn't an option, which was very inconvenient was us, since our flight back home was late at night. It didn't trouble us, but it's worth mentioning that there was no kettle in the room and the size of the toiletries was smaller than usually in the hotels and there was no toothpaste supplied. All in all, it's a very cute hotel and brilliant value for money. Would stay there again!
