Bidra med feedbackOnly a few kilometers from the main highway, I would never expect to find this little gem of a hotel surrounded by trees, by a river, in a valley full of birds and natural beauty. The single room I was given is huge, with a spacious bathroom, a large bed, and a delightful terrace overlooking the river. And to think that I was charged more at the Montpellier Ibis! This is too sweet a set up for the price. I highly, highly recommend it! Marcello Sorrentino
We booked stay at Abetaia hotel without any though that it can become a culinary experience. Now we’ve had dinner here 3 times and I can responsibly say that ‘simple standard’ qualification of ViaMicheline web-site is understatement. I’ve been to many restaurants relying on the Guide and have a right for this opinion: InCucina Abetaia is at least on ‘good standard’ level. The menu is limited, yet inventive and created with care. I would even say ‘intelligent’. Presentation is smart and elegant (not for those looking for solid portion . Members of the team perform natural and attentive. Wine list is focused on affordable high quality wines with emphasis on LIgurian local. I am personally not fond of Ligurian wines, however, I loved the passion of the sommelier. : All in all, highly recommended! Even if you’re not staying at Abataia Hotel. Which, by the way, is definitely worth it
The owners, Sonia and Michelle, are wonderful hosts. Michelle is great at pairing wines with each course. The food was some of the best we had in Italy. The presentation was perfect too. I could not recommend a better place to go for dinner when in Levanto.
Not huge selection of choices, but homemade trofie with basil very impressive. Also good selection of local wines
The food looks stunning and some of the dishes really impressed us with their well balanced flavors. Still, some dishes were average and thus disappointed us a bit. All in all though, well worth the money and a visit even if you have to take a short trip with the car!
