Bidra med feedbackUpdate: There is a new waitress that is just terrible, that ruins the whole culinary experience. What a shame, especially since I love that they really work hard to offer vegan, huge servings. They even make a vegan version of Vol au vent, which is quite rare. And the fact that they are located on the main square in Leuven gives them bonus points when you hopping out of cafe, but do not want to go, leave the cafe scene to eat something. Very fair prices, considering the portions! Updated by previous review on 2020-07-09
I'm not coming back to dinner, but I'm going to return for cozy terras and cocktails.
This review comes from a visit in autumn 2017, and it was the first day that Cafe Manger began to serve a vegan dish (it was a coicid that we were in Louvain this day. The vegetables and the sauce were nice, but everything in all it could smell something. Culinary not really very exciting, and at 17€, a bit steep. But everything was freshly prepared, and it's nice to have another place in Louvain that serves a vegan option! NOTE: now the menu has changed (vegan court is now vol au vent with frits at 14€
Nice classic Belgian cafe, we went there with a small group special for the vegan full of pleasure. The food was good, the portions big, the service super kind and well informed about veganism. There are only two vegan dishes on the map if I remember correctly, but there were other options that could be veganized. We're definitely going back!
