The King Si Thu - Letpandan

This was FRIED vegetables and steamed fish. Vegetables were steamed instead of fried and fish was 30% raw and cleaned bad. Price is very high, quality is low. But the view is good. And finally total price was 50% discounted. So they listen to clients.

Went there to check out the sunset. Great view and decent service if it is not busy. Cost is higher than most places in new Bagan but I guess you're paying a premium for the location and view. A big bottle of Myanmar beer is 4000 kyat. I wasn't even offered a food menu.

Vety disappointed experience, as we booked a table for two, and at the same time came 400 Chinese tourists. We noticed that the staff got stressed (despite of preparation for those groups) and we could give the order only one hour later. Well, the service as the food came missing the half of things. If such Upper class restaurant focused only on groups, they shouldn't take any more reservations. We felt a little taken beside and after complaining we didn't pay for anything. That's why the 2 stars.

Be careful of the prices. This is a fraud. Food was good.... But they get 2 stars for completely overcharging me. I didn 't realised it the first day but when i wanted to go there the second day, i remembered what i paid the day before and what prices are in the menu. Instead of 19.500 Kyat i was charged 25.000 (i didn 't get a bill either). The same waiter tells me something about the government the next day but i call BS and left. This was not my first restaurant in Myanmar and so far all the prices have been transparent and clear. Don 't go there.

If river view aside u r looks for better place.. this is the right place to taste in all here.
