Bidra med feedbackA block from the main street makes this the cheapest restaurant in the city, but the offer of food is not great. When the rain began, chaos followed, and they were mixed with orders. I finished my meal before one of the other dishes... They get the feeling they try their best, but just don't have the professionalism to make it better.
We had an impromptu lunch here during the stay in the region. We went for a cheap and cheerful hamburger and chips each washed with a beer. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Our food came fast and the burger was really well cooked... as we like it, and very tasteful. The prices were very reasonable. We were in and out of the restaurant in approx. 45 minutes, but could easily sit there and drunk beer for the rest of the afternoon.
We chose this place when we passed it before and it looked nice. But when we sat down, we had to wait an eternity to be served. After we gave up our order, comfortable drinks arrived. But the food was another thing. After about 40 minutes, another couple was served that came after us. When we saw this, we complained and said it wasn't long. It took another 25 minutes before our meals arrived with a laborious, half-hearted apology for waiting. We asked for the bill and after 15 minutes the bill had to go back to the bar. There was no excuse for waiting or even thank you when I paid the bill. You have to say that the food was good, but was pampered by unacceptable waiting and bad service.
We went from Les Salles about our return from les Gorges du Verdon and back to Bagnols-en-Forêt. It was lunchtime and we were looking for a place for a quick bite (our children were on the way). We landed in Lou Bouccin and expected nothing... impressive. What a disaster. We ordered a really dead simple dish (hot dogs with French fries) for all of us, plus soft drinks. First, the service was inadmissible and we had to wait a long time (30 minutes) to be served. Then the food was terrible: the hot dogs looked like they were made from inner tubes of bicycle tires and the frits were covered with black soots, which are typical of overused frying oil. The bill was not cheap (50 euros including soft drinks for a dish a drink per person). The last straw was the tasteless comments made by the owner loudly about a disabled person who had eaten there and had just gone with his family. Note: Do not go there with disabled guests.
We only had a cafe au lait here and it was brilliant. The lady who runs the place is very friendly. We didn't eat here but had to review the coffee since it was the best one I had during my stay.
