L'ecume - Les Mathes

Monday afternoon the meal had 15 €, large pizza ham mushroom) with laterally green salat beautiful dressing) wein plus either cripple or two draws ice. excellent, friendly service, English spoken) we sat outside with two dogs and they. pizza has been amazingly best on our trip; crispy thin base and not too much cheese so not so delicate. wee was good. vanilleeis has vanilla seeds, so not cheap supermarket sorte. in any case worth a visit, we will return. table next to us had a selection of mini deserts that looked amazing

We ate here, but we were too early as they were opened at seven. we wandered around and went back and the dame recognized us and found a table for the seven of us. We ordered our food and a drink and the restaurant. very quickly filled. food came, moulles for most of us, burger for the children and it was all very good. would recommend to visit but there early as it fills quickly.

One of our favorites that we are back after year. mainly pizzas, but small selection of chicken dishes and steaks. very friendly staff and good decor. family friendly.

We have been to this restaurant several times over the last few years in the hope that the experience will be bettered but every time we get the same- The waiters and waitresses are lovely but are constantly being harassed by the grumpy and rude...lady who runs the restaurant. She hounds the staff and doesn't listen to the customers at all. The food is average, there are other places in the area that serve better food for a better price. The restaurant is however constantly busy and it is rare to get a table without a reservation. While they have minimum six staff serving at all times, these staff are run into the ground and therefore do not have time to stop at all. If you want to order quickly or if you want to order something extra best to forget it!

The whole family went for an outing and popped into L'ecume for dinner. The menu was laid out well and something for everyone. All staff were very friendly and food just as good. We attempted to speak French which they helped with rather than jumping...full into English as some places do.
