Le Tourbillon - Les Gets

Really friendly and homely place. Great service, good food and great value - tried all the top rated restaurants on Expedia and this was our best experience of the 7 we tried. Surprised it is not more highly rated.

A lot of care and attention clearly goes into the food which shows in the quality and taste. Duck and salmon starter as a special mention along with either the 'faux filet' which is a beautiful cut of meat or the duck in a ginger and honey sauce. A must go place if in Les Gets.

The food is what you'd expect, nothing more, nothing less. Service is average. There just aren't lot of positive things to say about this restaurant. Too many tables crammed into too small an area. At least the prices aren't too high. See, that was positive.

We loved this restaurant, probably the best lunch we had during our week in Les Gets. We are both vegetarian and loved that we could order traditional Savoyard dishes without meat. The mushroom tartiflette was fantastic!

We had lunch here as a family and it was a very good experience. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a mountain restaurant. There seemed to be a few locals there enjoying a super long lunch/afternoon of it, which made it nice and cosy. The food was good and we all enjoyed it very much. It wasn't amazingly fantastic, but it wasn't stupidly expensive either. It was just a quality meal in town that the whole family enjoyed. I'd go back here again.
