Bidra med feedbackWe’ve enjoyed all our previous visits to Coquoz both winter and summer. It’s a magical spot on the ski slopes with views across the mountains. Good food. A wide selection of Swiss wines. And generally a smile and “bonjour”. We explained our friend is...a vegetarian. The choices weren’t obvious. He asked if it was possible just to have a plate of chips and was rather sternly directed to something else. A plate of vegetables? We reassured him that the vegetables at Coquoz are cooked with a bit of imagination. At 27 Swiss francs the price was a bit of a shock. It would have required some stellar cooking to be worth that money. And it wasn’t. The other choices on the menu were much better value. Coquoz ... it’s clear you don’t have vegetarians in mind. But do you really want to make them feel unwelcome and overcharged?
We went to the self service twice in a row we enjoyed it so much. They offer a good selection of paninis and cooked food which we enjoyed from an outside table with an uninterrupted view to a whole mountain range. One to try!
We went for the chasse in October 2021 and it was great. this is not our first visit and we prefer the summer/case as it is not as busy as in winter. the service was efficient and the preparation of food was above the average.
We went here for a 'chasse' menu well joined, quality and great sweet and obsessed with it. all perfectly balanced and patient service. solid wine choices, including petite arvine. the walk down and up from and to the rope...car station is super rewarding with fantastic views over the alps. we had (very early) snow. of course, the hike will drive its appetit.
