Bidra med feedbackIt is about celebrating cheese in its various forms. Traditional raclette and fondue with potatoes, sausages and salads. They copied well with our big group and the cheese was incredible. Be warned, your clothes smell like melted cheese for the rest of your...trip!
Not the first time. So my third visit here in three years. My first review was the first time, but not the last. I think I got in a whole circle. We were at the end of a table for ten... twelve. The table is so deep that my wife's hands were a sporty exercise. The family occupying the four fifths of the table was pleasant enough, but 80% noise dominated meant that each sentence between my wife and I was answered with a "pandon". Now you can survive everything, but no one actually gave a little bit about it. Why? Because it's half-time and if you don't like it or knock it, then another cup becomes. Now let's put a raclette everywhere in the Alps is an overpriced meal, but the brothers three in the refugee made it a piece of resistance for twenty years because of their attention. Yeah, the raclette was good tonight. Not so generous, but good to taste. But the attention and customer support were out of hand. No, it was rude. I can cook the same without the cold shoulder and talk to my wife. #whoneedstook aftercustomersitshalfterm!
Lovely little traditional restaurant. Great staff always making an effort. Great for both small and larger groups. Been multiple times and always very impressed. Best fondue in Meribel!
This is one of the local gems in a touristic place. You think you enter a cheese shop however, they direct you down the stairs into a slightly outdated and authentic restaurant. May great variations to cheese don't come here if you do not like...cheese! There is not much else on the menu. Make sure you make a reservations it is busy even on evenings you would not expect it.
The atmosphere is warm, the cheese is hot and the staff are genial. A lovely way to spend an evening and the best Raclette in Meribel.
