Moon Wok - Lenexa

Just found this place since in an old shopping center tucked uphill away from the main road sight. Very good food, but over priced for what you get.All these little places now want Bo Lings prices, but without their atmosphere of a nice sit down special occasion restaurant. Lunch and dinner special in same carton but charge more for same dinner. Both in small container. More sauce, rice, and cheap vegetables than meat, authentic chinese vegetables.Do not know if will return. Run down sketchy middle Eastern businesses and bar in rest of the strip mall not comfortable to visit either. Maybe if lower prices back to pre covid supply excuses all the Chinese places used to raise prices. C'mon, not much supplies imported anyway when only using mostly zuchini carrot broccoli prob with american soy sauce even vs chinese spices and ingredients. Keep the chop sticks, lol!

Would not recommend the general tso it was all over fried breading. Everything else was good.

Just ordered the Happy Family dish. It was awesome, one of the best I have had. The fried rice was terrific!!! I ate way too much.

Wonderful service, fantastic food. It was all clearly made fresh and was brought to us by a very kind woman who also helped us with recommendations from the menu. Classic Chinese spot!

I did take out on this my first visit. Small, almost hole-in-the-wall place. Clean, friendly staff, and on time, YES! But the food, I was amazed! The best Chinese I have had from a take out place! I 'm serious, I like Chinese a lot and always try to find family or indepently owned places. Some of the chain stores are okay, but the down home places will pretty much be better every time. This place has excellent food at the typical price for these places. The portions were huge as well. They are out of the way and across town from where I live, but I will be back repeatedly!
