El Pollo Loco - Lemon Grove

It's a very big place sadly they don't accept EBT they don't have a dine-in but they have takeout and drive-thru due to the pandemic. I love their variety of choices of combos absolutely love churros. They speak English and Spanish so for those of you who use their family members to speak for them don't worry there super friendly and super helpful so don't be bashful.

I don 't know about you, but if I smell a toilet backed up just before eating, I loose my taste for what I want to eat. WELL, that 's what happened here!!! And don 't go to the restroom to wash your hands!!! OMG!!! I wanted to tell the Mgr. about this so badly but I didn 't want to embarrassed my friend with me. As soon as we walked????in, he said let 's get it to go. I knew what he meant. But I really wanted this food because I came all the way from Texas to work here for a few days and we don 't have El Pollo Loco 's in East Texas. The store looked clean but the smell said otherwise! Yes, the food was great ???? and ? like we expected.

This pollen loco restaurant is terrible, it is 100 degrees outside and I could almost suspect it is hotter inside because of no AC, they have this portable bubble hot air, saw cockroache running around floor and floor is dirty. Surprised is this place open for the service.

Bad service, very rude! Today on July 25th three. We were helped by a short Latina lady, didn't get her name and we ordered a family meal by ride thru, with potatoes, beans and tortillas as a by-court then I wanted to replace the tortillas for salad and she said I can't replace it. Then she went into the window, she told us they hadn't lubricated any potatoes, she could have told us that if we ordered. No apologies for this, then she asked me what to replace her so that we can finally get a salad. Also I thought the price was $23.99 and she charged me $26.99 plus tax, so I asked why and she just told me to see the entrance, no explanation at all! Service is terrible!

Love there pollen bowl. Great stuff. Beans, rice, pollen. Salsa is fantastic. The tortillas are okay. Not the best, but overall the price is good for what you get.
