Shirley's Diner - Leland

Had to buy two $15.00 plates to try everything I wanted. I think next time I'll cook at home. about all foods was good, only not enough to justify what I paid. I would suggest rotating the menu to contain oysters as a page on each plate. even a doll per oyster would be fair.

I bought two shrimps from here and my whole food wasn't done. My friend has food poison from food here. Be careful what you order.

Today the fish whistled. They were out of stains and flounder. The waitress said it was fresh local, but I think it was flash frozen Seapak Filets. At least not as good as normal, but still okay.

This diner serves freshly prepared foods. The Cheeseburger is really a bellybuster. Her fried spots are better cooked than my mother. This restaurant is small, but knows how to like its customers. Great waitress! It is a must to visit in Leland. We stop every time we go to Oak Island.
