A beautiful place and thanks to the big awning you can also sit outside at heavy rain and enjoy the beautiful view of the Mulde. The hospitality was great and the service was also super nice. We're definitely coming back.

A clear recommendation! We were here for lunch today. Reserved in advance, as you have to expect that many will find the way here on the weekend. Therefore it is absolutely necessary to reserve the castle not far from the Taverne has a day ticket, so you can interrupt the visit for a lunch break. The food was super fresh, had a seasonal selection and, above all, in contrast to many other rustic restaurants nearby, a larger selection of vegetarian dishes (so we talk here not only about a soup or a salad). This is really a clear plus. And everything has also tasted wonderfully. The service is very friendly and the ambience cozy. If you have to wait longer for the food, it should not scare off, but invite you to chat with your loved ones accordingly. We'll be happy to come back.
