Bidra med feedbackMy friend and I have bark steak, kartoffel with cream and vegetables. we asked the waitress to get our bark meat rare and medium. when the dishes were served, we realized that they gave us a medium (instead of rare) and well cooked piece of bark (instead of medium). we have asked the waitress (real friendly and really polite) to send our dishes back to the kitchen. 10 minutes later we got our new dishes, but honestly, the quality of the meat is not worth 22€. to dessert I have a tiramisu and I recommend it. if they want a advice, they should go for the carving with carrots (my father took that) and it looked good.
This a somewhat unusual restaurant in an old mansion-like house at a the end of the Waldstrassenviertel, adjacent to the historic Rosenthal park. I have noted that this place attracts many people, especially on nice days, when the terraces are always filled. I came here...for a business dinner on a quiet evening and enjoyed the setting. The interior is not as classical as the architecture would suggest, yet offering ample space between and at the tables. The menu is German with a standard range of dishes, some Saxonian, some Bavarian. I opted for the zander fillet, which I found fresh, perfectly grilled and tasty. It combined well with the potatoes with almonds and spicy cucumber salad. The pana cotta dessert with strawberries was all right. Service was professional. Altogether a promising first impression.
The story of the Leipzig Muckenschlosschen (The Mosquitoes Chateau about a mention house erected to commemorate some kind of a legendary unimportant story. The place is however a small town house with the feel of a country estate, which is not only an architectural gem...but also a house of local history, marked by an urban identity, at the fringe between the hectic city and the huge parks and meadows, known as the Rose Valley. Even before the food, the place is worthwhile going to for the special indoors and outstanding garden atmosphere. Be that as it may, the food is really good (though not outstanding creative cuisine and the service efficient and friendly. We would definitely come again whether for a meal ' a formal reception or even just for a glass of bear.
Bavarian-like restaurant that serves a variety of Bavarian, Mediterranean and regular German food. It is located next to a small creek and one can perfectly sit outside either on the restaurant 's terrace or in the Biergarten . Service is sometimes a bit slow and inaccurate but...this depends from waiter to waiter. All in all I can recommend the Mueckenschloesschen.
The food was delicious, service was friendly, atmosphere was great. Not to mention that the location is great and the restaurant is really nice.
