This coffee is in a very good location and you have to admit - the ambiance is cosy ! Cakes are good - not extraordinary but worth their price - and coffees were ok, but too much cream for me. Price was a bit too much - 5 euros for a coffee with Eierlikor und Sahne is a bit expensive for Leipzig. Good place if you want to have a cosy coffee time with your loved one :)

We had breakfast for two with my husband. Food was very good, staff competent and kind. We didn't have to wait for a table or service.

Worth visiting for the coffee and cakes rather than for its atmosphere which is modern and rather bland. Efficient service though and the cakes melt in your mouth.

I had a good Caesar salad for lunch here. Not particularly atmospheric but friendly, efficient and not too expensive. Recommended.

I met with a former professor of mine and his wife for coffee and cake. I tried the mohn-birne (poppyseed-pear) torte, as well as some of their macaroons. The torte was rather jelly-like and only had the pear on top, and the macaroons were dried out and tasted very artificial. The waitress was not very friendly towards the professor's wife, who is originally from Korea and made an effort to try out her German while ordering.
