Big John' S Humberstone Road

My favourite place in Leicester. Good food and great service in particular NASEEM. Friendly and lovely customer service

I have been a regular at big John's since they opened and I used to love the food and the service, but recently this is no longer the case. I stopped going to this branch a month ago when they served me rancid fish which stank so bad I thought someone had urinated in the takeaway bag. they hadn't, but the fish was inedible. it went straight in the bin when I got home and since then I have only used the Narborough road store until today. today the experience was laughable (see review I posted earlier). sorry to do this guys, but your standards have slipped so low that today will be my last visit an I will be looking for a new regular.

Came for quick meal with a friend and had the peri peri chicken, chicken wings and chips. Food was nice and fresh with proper chips. Price is reasonable and is a good place to bring the kids for a quick bite to eat!

This place has gone downhill since it opened, the staff do not bother to clean the facilities! They need hourly checks like they have in pubs and other eateries!

Always drive through here and get grilled chicken. Lovely tasting food, once the food was late and I was given a free portion of chips. Lady in headscarf who has been working there for a long time I have forgotten her name but she is brilliant!
