Bidra med feedbackBy far one of the best wineries in North Virginia. Their wines are excellent, their summer concert series is a great place to hang on a Saturday night and enjoy a few glasses of wine with friends. The benefits of the members are the best of the 8 wineries that we belong to 1. Free passes to the concerts 2. Free tasting every visit. 3 private seats tasting, if desired. 4. Memembers only tasting wines from the library. 5. The staff is absolutely best for you, they treat everyone with a real recognition that you have stopped for a visit, and they seem to remember each and every member with name. Stop by tasting ask Erin and her staff about their membership package.
Nice evening watching love music in the forest with good food. Light social distance also
There is something unique about Tarara Winery that sets it apart from other wineries. As you drive down the tree-lined road onto the property, you are transported away from the chaos of everyday life and immediately feel a sense of relaxation. The expansive deck overlooking the field and Potomac River adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The friendly staff in the tasting room are eager to help you have a fun and informative wine tasting experience. Tarara offers a variety of white and red wines, as well as additional labels that are surprisingly good, including grapes from Washington State. They also have a well-made smooth port called White's D9 that is worth trying. In the summer, they host weekly concerts by the lake and various events throughout the year to honor first responders, police, firefighters, and veterans. For special occasions, their gift baskets are exceptional and can even be personalized. Becoming a member at Tarara Winery is a great value in Northern Virginia.
Tarara is quickly one of my favorite wines in the area. I missed it for the first time when I visited the local wine loop in this area because it was a bit further away. Oh, as I wished my friends and I was gone that day! The area of the winery is beautiful, like the view from the front. All staff here are about wines and are super friendly. They even remember you when you stop! I lean on red wines and can definitely say that Clement 's Resistance was a way out of tasting last weekend. I am also looking forward to the return of their port wine (Whities D9) in autumn!
Great wines, beautiful location to sit out and have a glass or bottle. Groups are welcome. Staff is friendly and will remember you if you are a repeat customer. As with anywhere, tastings can get slow if many customers are there.
