Cedar River Seafood - Leesburg

I really enjoy this restaurant. There is a nice variety of seating options with a mix of booths and tables. The server was friendly and quick. The food is fantastic. I ordered the Flounder dinner and it was delicious. The portion size was very generous. The all you can eat option is a great deal for just a little extra cost compared to the regular dinner plate. I will definitely be coming back!

I drove from my home near Fort Lauderdale to this restaurant in Leesburg. I have visited the original Cedar River and other locations in Jacksonville before. I used to come back often even after moving out of Jax. I also found their location in Middleburg and enjoyed it there too. Thankfully, this location is closer to my house. As expected, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal of 3 dozen fried shrimp, along with collard greens and green beans. The hushpuppies were also delicious. I washed everything down with three large glasses of tea. The service was excellent and I even bought a t-shirt as a souvenir.

We were impressed by both the quantity and quality of the food, especially considering the price. During this visit, I ordered the SEAFARER’S COMBO for $16.50, which includes two main menu options. My plate consisted of deviled crabs and fried calamari, with sides of lima beans and coleslaw. All dinners also come with hush puppies. Almost every seafood item can be fried, broiled, or blackened, providing a variety of options. The portions are generous for the price and the food is delicious. The lima beans were a particular highlight, as they were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I would definitely recommend trying Cedar River Seafood if you are a seafood lover. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would not hesitate to order again.

It is your typical fried seafood place. That's not bad, the food is very good. It is usually a fried menu so know that when you go there. The waitress was nice and the food came fast. There really isn't much more to say about it.
