Village Grill - Village Hotel Leeds South

I have visited this place twice now, and it is becoming my go-to spot for a classy pub with a great menu and deliciously presented dishes.

The service was terrible and the food was average. We decided to have lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was bustling, which we thought meant it must be good.

I recently traveled to Pool bank, which is a bit off the beaten track, for a friend's farewell dinner.

Food was lovely. Noise was ok. Great atmosphere. Service was ok. Will return

We had booked for a Sunday carvery but was telephoned to say they no longer offered this and it was now a set Sunday lunch, 1,2 or 3 courses. The food offered was very tasty although not very hot. Not good value for money either we felt The environment was a real negative. The bar/restaurant felt dirty and needed tables clearing. It was really cold and the noise level wasn’t relaxing. Tasty food but we will not be returning as it was expensive and chaotic.
