Incredibly friendly staff, great service and a top-notch Sunday roast. The lamb option was incredibly delicious, the nut roasts full of taste and not dry as some can be. Veg cooked perfectly and a good selection, optional cauliflower cheese well worth the investment. Children enjoyed the fish and chips (chips very good! and the peas for the carrot from the roast menu. No special children's menu, but they are happy to make smaller versions of everything on the regular. Fussy eaters could fight with it, so check in advance to prevent tears. Great selection of beers and other drinks, pleasant ambience and only a round jolly beautiful place to visit. (near Wen's concerned me a little in view of their bizarre reaction to my review of the experience there, but I escaped any retaliation.

We visited the area for the weekend, and we couldn't find any online availability, but after a request they contacted us immediately and let us know that they were able to take place. Our visit was also made with a warm and friendly service, fantastic selection of beautifully designed, fat yet mouth-watered dishes, all were excellent value for money. It's something outside downtown, but it's 100% worth visiting! I still dream of the cal salad after a week

We had a very busy day looking for food somewhere where we could take my son and his friends puppies. We were so welcome and took care of it. I'm not sure he was owner or manager, but we had nice conversations. The meal was excellent and we couldn't eat everything. Wine that he recommended in fact devine. My son went back the next night. Outstanding in every way.

After discovering this on a dog-friendly restaurant list, we stopped here with our Pooch to escape the rain on Sunday. We were after a light lunch and chose some of the 'Smaller Teller' from the menu. At first there was a little mishap with a wrong order, but it was really fast and treated with a smile. A little on the expensive side for the portion size (more than a snack than a light lunch), we were relieved that we ordered to share a page, but the food was divine and we felt it was a fair price for a treat. The flavors were amazing and we are happy to return for more foodie inspiration. Would recommend a booking because it was pretty busy!

Bar snacks menu is outstanding and different, everything on the list is amazing, would order it all again. Really good quality and excellent value for money..... However, drinks are not as good as your local pub, range not what you want and more expensive than other places
