Tariq's - Leeds

Had a night with friends in Headingley and wanted a kebab. Went for the monster kebab on nan and for £7.99 I was blown away from the portion size, the reasonable quality of ingredients and beyond the staff was really friendly. My friend, who was with life and Gloucestershire, and he thinks he's going back, only for the kebab it was so good, so can't say fairer than that.

I just wanted to thank Tariq publicly. A few weeks ago I found myself with a scrap outside the Bradford Curry House, was 5 on 1 of this point and not only Tariq knocked out 3 of the Curry workers, he also gave me a free meal and a can special brew. I never expected anyone to have such hospitality in the same postal code as BCH.

Nice food, good guys. They made a song, but mistakes on my order, but the next time I went into the guy recognized me and as a kind of excuse my next meal was free. You cannot be better than this happy customer

The food was pleasant but didn't offer a wide range of curry. It seems to have rebranded as specialising in dessert, which I didn't try. The rebrand includes a face lift that has turned it from Jackie Onassis to Jackie Stallone. Really, it's an awful gaudy looking place now. Bright lights and bright coloured crushed velvet seating. Price was pretty good. Food was fine. Service was good. But my eyes still hurt from the furnishings.
