Browns - Leeds

We (I myself and 3 friends) have booked a table for 4, for Saturday at 8.30. The dishes and drinks were very good, but the service was very slow. The waitress was very slow to take our drinks orders and bring them to our table, although the bar and restaurant were very quiet. The staff behind and around the bar stood for laughing instead of waiting for tables. Our food came and was very good, but we asked the waitress to have some wine with the meal. The waitress must have forgotten that we had asked when she came back 5 minutes later to ask if everything was fine with the meal at which point we had to remember, we had ordered the wine. The waitress then took another 15 minutes to bring this wine, at which point we had finished the food completely. They also add a 10% service fee on the invoice that we asked to be removed as the service was not good. This is quite amusing for the diners, because we didn't want to be rude, but we don't feel that we have to pay because the service was disappointingly slow.

Had a booking for 5.30 a.m. the place was very busy and the atmosphere was very good. Service was good and the food was great. Staff was very friendly.

Booked some time ago through open table. Greeter seemed confused when we arrived. 10 minutes early but found table for drinks. Then appeared to be forgotten and had to chase for a table in a very crowded restaurant. It transpired (we were told) that the booking from open table hadn't arrived and that when we entered the restaurant the greeter assumed we were another booking. We were found another table eventually and the service was efficient

Pre booked, Sunday, 5.30pm no Sunday roast of any type left. Buy more meat?

From arriving to leaving service good, Meal was good steak as requested the banoffee pie very nice different and no rush to push you out
