Trattoria Milani - LECCO

Placed on the top of Mount Erna only accessible by cable car. A little on the expensive side but well worth it after a hike in the beautiful surroundings.

The list is very short but all the offer is good. Polenta and meat to be preferred, good spatzle. Service is quick and friendly. Limited seats for babies, noisy environment. Crostate are delicious and coffee is offered. Better to book

This is a very casual trattoria, busy and fast-moving but the personnel were very friendly. The food was traditional, rustic excellent although a little pricey. We were indoors but with a beautiful view of the mountains. We could've stayed all day but we had things to do, mountains to climb...

Took the cablecar to the top and spent a pleasurable morning wandering and then came here for lunch. Limited menu available, but that didn't matter as it was quite varied. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our meals (pasta and ravioli dishes), but special mention needs to go to the service. All the staff were friendly, competent and helpful, but one young girl in particular was exceptionally good, talking us through the menu, serving with a smile and always available but also unobtrusive well done!
