Island Spice Jamaican - Leavenworth

We stopped in for Jamaican patties and stayed for a complete meal. Dave the owner is super friendly and and welcoming, the food is what home cooked food taste like., curried goat and peas and rice yum yum

Only one word. Amazing!! Customer service 10/10! Food 12/10! I ordered the Jerk Chicken and it was served generously! I held the bone for a second, and the meat fell off it in a glorious descent. ️ highly recommend and will be sure to come back for another wonderful meal and a full serving of the fun ambience — — — also they have a karaoke stage, I mean what’s better than that!!

2021 Update: Visited Island Spice two years ago and now back in town and it's even better than before!! It was good to see they reopened after being closed for an overseas assignment…yes, the owners are an Active Duty military family!! Enjoyed the oxtail dinner which was full of flavor, fall off the bone delicious!! We also had the curried goat, curried chicken and peppered shrimp and scallops…really good food!! I don't normally eat pork, but I tried the pork jerky and it was outstanding. This might become my new favorite meal.

Dave’s service was fun, lighthearted, and entertaining. Veronica‘s cooking was authentic and delicious! Would recommend for anyone wanting to have a relaxing evening.
