Fatty's Taphouse - Leavells

We didn't even make it to ordering food! We were greeted right away and seated. However, the smell of metal, water and mold was so strong. Table and menus wet. The bigger turnoff was the menu had mold on them! We left!! Meal type: Other

Tonight was my first time trying Fatty’s Taphouse, and I must say I was quite impressed. For appetizers, we had the crab dip with pita bread and bacon, wrapped scallops and for my entrée I had the two lump crab cakes with a half pound of steamed shrimp. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The servers and hostess were awesome and recommended the fried cheesecake which was amazing. FANTASTIC seafood spot! We got oysters on the half shell, steamed shrimp, and crab soup plus some sides and everything was spot-on. It was carry out, but the staff I interacted with were all very friendly and it seemed like a nice spot to eat-in. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was better this time around. Have been coming here for years finally it wasn't so damn salty the only issue was my oyster basket left a lot to be desired since I sent it back.
