Bidra med feedbackTLDR: Roughly on a par with a mall 's food court not bad, but not spectacular Chinese food. Tried their Szechuan Chicken, Orange Tofu, and Pepper Steak. All were fine, and kudos that nothing got soggy on the trip home. The crab rangoons are a bit gloppy, but everything is reasonable and reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you 're looking for decent takeout. This place scores a 3 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale ', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come to Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come to Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come to Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus ' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come to the Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn 't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come to Nobody good. I wouldn 't have my penultimate supper here, either.
We've lived near this place for 15 years and for some reason only tried it recently. If I had checked the YELP reviews first, I probably would not have chanced it at 2.5 stars. But I notice most reviews are 2 to 5 years old! We got Moo Goo Gai Pan for pickup. Ordered it with extra vegetables and an egg roll. Everything was perfect! Food good and hot when we got back home with it. A week or so later we got the Chicken with Vietnamese Vermicelli noodles and egg rolls. The sauce was very good and the vermicelli done to perfection. The chicken was a little tough but to be fair we ordered about 30 minutes before closing. It came with shredded lettuce and fresh julienned cucumbers and carrots. The egg rolls are inconsistent. The first ones were kind of small, but thin and crisp more like a Spring Roll. We liked them so well we did an order of 4 the second time, but those were thick and overcooked. Otherwise, we enjoyed both dishes and there was a lot of food with each. The lady who gave me the orders both times was very friendly. You can order and pay on line at their web site but they use an order taking service that hits you with a $1.25 processing fee. You can call in your order and I don't think there is a fee for that.
Ordered delivery online and it arrived in under 30 minutes, piping hot. The hot and sour soup is some of the best I've ever had. The rest of the food was so good, I ate half of it before I remembered to take a picture!
First the new girl who has a red hair at the front is really annoying. She's not friendly and can't tell you when the order will be ready! Last night I ordered through DoorDash app like 40 minutes ahead, I knew it was raining maybe the order behind so I went for pick up, this girl ask for the order name and she went back inside, then came out front say nothing, a few minutes later I had to ask for the update she said what's your order name? !!!!!!!! Seriously?? After I gave her my name, she went back inside again and then told me that your order is still cooking, how long it will be ready, I ordered 40 minutes ahead, and now more than an hour? I don't know know how long gonna take, we have so many orders and blah blah.. At that time it's 30 minutes late from the estimated time. And this girl gave me rude face and poor communicated. I can't handle this type of service I had to contact DoorDash for cancellation. This place is also gross that's why we never eat inside table and restroom totally yuck! But...not so different from the kitchen anyway! It's just close to where I live and good price. But I won't come back if I don't have too. I can't deal with unreasonable wait time!
This place is awesome. Only bad thing is they are closed on Tuesdays. Get the chicken fried rice for sure! 2 for $20 and it's a lot of food.
