I had a bad feeling when I saw the exterior and or the interior. The paintings on the wall are about to loose the little of the color once they had. I saw some exposed wires on the front counter where the cash register is (maybe not). I order a rib eye steak and mash potatoes. Plate came with just that and a thick piece of bread with lots of butter. No vegetables or any other thing next to my steak. It was the best steak I ever had. Tender, juice, thick and for a moment I though I was eating a piece of ham. I will definitely will come back to this place whenever I pass by Eagle Pass. I don't live anywhere near this place but they know what they are doing when it comes to cooking a steak.
My eggs were perfect, plenty of bacon and delicious homemade biscuits.
For all the older folks that eat here I would think they’d have it more accessible with a ramp. Suggestion for the future.
Just went to cool off and have some lemonade. Tipped our waitress very good for just two drinks.
