If you are in the LC area and haven't tried Gregory's you are missing out. Great food and service. Most days you'll find Gregory at the register greeting his customers and delivery food to the tables. My personal favorites are the souvlaki, hummus and yucca fries. But you can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu.
My husband and I stopped for lunch on a Sunday. He had eaten here a few times and liked it. This was my first. We dined in, one of maybe 6 tables. A guy was waiting on a togo order, something they do a lot of it seemed. Its clean, cheery and quaint. Gregory greeted us at the register, remembered my husband so I suspect he's been here more times than he confessed lol We ordered the Mediterranean Sampler appetizer, greek lemon fries and I ordered a Gryo wrap with red hibiscus tea he had a chicken souvlaki wrap. Food is prepared when you order so a small wait but not too long and we were enjoying our appetizer. Our fries came next which I would have preferred them delivered with our wraps but that didn't stop us from inhaling them. A delicious lemon garlic butter graced these home fries. When the wraps arrived they were busting at the seams! The portions are generous supporting the prices. The freshness and quality of ingredients is VERY good making it worth every single penny. We both took half our wraps home for later. Gregory himself kept our drinks filled and is very attentive. The overall ambiance was lovely harkening me back to my days in small family owned bistros in Europe. Just lovely! If you order pickup he has two spaces designated out front for convenience. If we lived closer this would definitely be on our weekly rotation! Give them a try.
Ok, my search for an excellent mid-day meal was satisfied at Gregory's Gyro and Rotisserie. I love when simple eats become a great treat. I ordered the six inch Big Kahuna slightly altered for my dietary needs and it was packed with flavor. The dish has two meats but the chicken was the star for me. I had the pleasure of meeting Gregory (he took my order) and got an informative overview of his approach to food preparation. All made to order but the wait wasn't long. If you are in a hurry, call ahead. The restaurant has a cozy setting with all tables and no booths. There is a section for diner style seating and a food bar which I wasn't drawn to use. This place is now on my list for future visits near the coast.
