Bidra med feedbackThis should be a very beautiful place, good location, beautiful looking improvement in old style architecture, but the place is not all. It is quite empty most of the time in contrast to all other restaurants on the harbour bench,... the waiter is standing outside the door with a very strict look that is not inviting, you are even not sure that you do not stand on them to let you in, and everything looks cheap, unattended, almost like the shiny film decoration. It's boring. Anyway, I decided to test this place after repainting the front walls of the building, which could have been a sign of revival. No, this is not a nightmare, but everything is old, service is average, food is average, that is a despair for a place with such potential. Of course I do not recommend it, except perhaps for Halloween, if you are looking for food in the house of living dead, but this year this was closed because of the government of Covid.
Family dinner for 5. Half family went for cheapest menu, the other half of the most expensive. There was no difference. We like fish. Fish came, was very nice and well cooked. I waited for an hour. At some point, one had to have a head to fight with the waitress to make table free and demand the desert. At some point, some Nutella poured over chocolate ice cream and finished with Squirty cream appeared. We left, paid the exact amount, no tip and went the Quayside to a live music event. One hour later we passed the Neptune and our table was not cleared yet. That's all.
Stop here for lunch and needed a table for 10 outside and the owners were very helpful. A typical French set menu and excellent value. The staff was friendly and an excellent location overlooking the water.
Déco qui date d'au moins 50 ans, mais ça nous a fait rire et c'est pas vraiment dérangeant. Par contre,...More
