Cantin(A) - Le Muy

We often go to Le Muy when we are going to St Tropez for shopping (seriously, not all the shops in St Tropez are expensive) and make sure we go early so we can park the car in St Maxime, get the shopping over with and stop at Cantin(A) for lunch on the way home. If the Sole Meuniere is on the menu we will order in advance, at €24 it's a large fish and superbly cooked. We lovely the extra potatoes on the side (just ask). Very friendly and exact service. One of most favourite restaurants.

We think relatively recently changed hands and given some TLC. Le Muy is not the most attractive town and had few restaurants and even this one is small and could easily be missed. But actually its only just off the Main Street , close to the post office and there is plenty of parking nearby. The menu is blackboard , there is a three course deal (29 euros ,not obligatory the a la carte is good brief and varied and the food exquisite, the service impeccable. Chef cooks more or less in front of you , if eating inside and all is neat and tidy. All of this is building up to the piece de resistance the prawns persillaide were absolutely ‘parfait’.Fantastic. Even the desert is made individually taste citron especially included. I just hope they are still here next September

We visited Cantini twice this trip once as a group of 10 and then later as a couple. The food is superb, everything cooked to perfection and lovely friendly service. In fact we were remembered from our visit last September that is great service indeed! If you are in the vicinity do go you won’t be disappointed.

The restaurant is situated outside the centre near a small parc. It only has a few tables but this has a great atmosphere. The service is friendly and correct. The menu is small but diversified. For the children is a special menu. We all had a great diner here. Quality is good and tastefull and the restaurant works with local products and wines. Please try the rosé from cave reva. Of you are near le muy, please stop by.

En lisant TA et en cherchant un endroit nouveau où je pourrais aller, je suis tombé sur ce resto où, je dois l'avouer, je ne serais jamais allé si je n'avais pas lu les commentaires des trippersDu coup, je me suis dit que cela pouvait etre pas mal, et j'ai eu raison.le cadre est un peu déroutant, vous etes sur une place de ville entourée de maisons et de parkings, mais les propriétaire ont eu l'intelligence d'aménager la chose fort joliment, si bien qu'on se sent ailleurs et que le cadre est déplacé !Les plats sont tout à fait corrects, pas immensément originaux, mais bien faits, copieux, assez savoureux.Le personnel est très aimable, bref, tout ce qu'il faut pour passer une agréable soirée
