La Miranda de Rulo - Lazaro Cardenas

My boyfriend and I love pizzas, and we enjoyed a lot the pizzas at this place! I LOVED the caprese pizza... amazing... taste it!!!! We came back twice!

A really good pizzeria located near the centro. Go here if you're in the mood for a chill night with a good pizza. Try the shrimp pizza, it's great.

We have tried two other pizza places on Holbox Island and also tried La Miranda de Rulo also. This spot is now our favorite for pizza!

Went here the first time on a recommendation to try the fish. Two of us tried the coconut shrimp which were excellent and very filling. We watched as some of the pizzas came out and decided we needed to come back and try them which we did. We really like the pizza here. We did get to visit with Rulo a little and was impressed with his place and him. I would definitely recommend this place. The portions were big and we were full both times when we left.

This restaurant was one of the recommendations we got from the first hotel we stayed in. The place it's charming, you get to see the kitchen and how the pizzas are being prepared. We were told their star dish is the lobster pizza which we ordered. They took so long bringing the drinks and when the pizza arrived it wasn't special, an empty shell of a tiny lobster tail on the center as decoration and few pieces of lobster meat thrown around it (some slices didn't even had none of it but cheese) the salsas were good and the tortillas chips they serve at the beginning while you wait to be served. Place is pricey and be aware that in all the restaurants on the Island the tip is already charged to your bill (the tip IS optional and in Mexico the average tip is 10%) and in this restaurant we were forced and charged 15%. #notcoolRulo
