Courtepaille is part of a good value chain and they get what they pay. simple, decent quality food for a reasonable price. that is not a good meal, but it is a decent fast dinner. the staff that placed us and served us was very friendly and efficient. many choices on the menu, meat cooked to preference. dog and child friendly.

If you like grilled meat, this is the place to be. But there is certainly fish on the menu, too. Deliciously grilled on an open wood fire. Staff was very friendly and at the time of our visit, it was not so busy so we did not have to wait so long. Not the first time we ate at a Courtepaille, but the first time here. Highly recommended as far as we are concerned.

Good food, nice steaks, though staff didn't speak english there were english menus . Somewhat difficult communication but the staff was friendly. Not far from our hotel Ariane. Recommend.

We were staying at the nearby Novotel hotel for one 1 night whilst travelling through and we did not fancy the hotel restaurant. The reception recommended a couple of nearby places to eat, of which we chose this one. Although when we arrived, there were only 2 other tables, we decided to give it a go as there was a good selection of food on the menu. Overall, food was great, I had a steak which was delicious, the frites were excellent, and my wife had the grilled chicken which was also very tasty.A selection of salamis, salad and breads were brought out to all tables as a free starter which was a nice welcoming touch. The kids menus were superb value for money my children have outgrown the normal kids menus that you nowadays, but here were specific menus for 3 different age groups. Kids really enjoyed their meals. We even ventured for a couple of desserts which again were enjoyed by all. The staff were attentive and patient with our questions about certain dishes. There is a good outdoor area to eat, even though you are quite close to a cross roads, the hedges protected you somewhat from the traffic and noise. When we left, the inside of the restaurant had filled up and there were a good few of outside tables with clients. A great restaurant but a touch on the pricey side for the adult dishes (which is probably why they offer good value kids meals! . I would, however, come here again if I were in the vicinity.
