Bidra med feedbackHave you been looking for the best cheese steak that can buy money? Well, it won't be in Philly because Turns out Jersey makes it better. Now I have been in a lot of cheeses in Philly and my going to spot was dalessandro?s but during the pandemic they changed owners and the food no longer tastes the same. So I was looking for a good cheese place and came over Meatheadz, I put into the rabbit hole that saw her Instagram and already knew, based on the videos/image, this must be a good point. Drove a 1 hour 30 minutes to try this spot mannnn, this ride was worth it! Staff were very friendly with great customer service. The cheese steak itself was the BEST CHEESESTEAK I EVER HAD 10/10! I am a foodie that trusts me when I tell you that this place deserves the crown for the BEST CHEESESTEAK of Philly/Jersey area. Are you looking at what you won?
I wanted to come here a while, so when we had a football tournament in the neighborhood, I knew that was my chance. It is a very small old school hack (reminds and easier times) with parking around it. I came for a regular cheese steak, but the cashier recommended Drippin Steak. Onions, sharp peppers with ribeye on a sesame sown bread with Au Jus. The magic awaits: It comes nicely packed in a brown box. You open the goodness to see massive sandwich that flows with Steak. As soon as I took the first bite of juicy steak, I was raised to another level. The au jus adds a little vigilance, but much different than a French drip sandwich. The zanginess of the hot paprika def made a difference. The sandwich for $15, is much for an average person def, although I admit shamelessly that I eradicated everything from myself. All in all, it was a great sandwich and a great experience. If you didn't try this place and hunt a cheese steak, go here. We don't need to have Philly. Enjoy the pictures.
Whew! This sandwich is very filled. I ordered a regular cheese steak with onions, cheese peppers and a side of frits. This can be the lunch and dinner of someone after this delicious meal. Beats Genos and Pats I'm Philly every day. About the river in Jersey?
Delicious cheeses on perfect bread with the right ratio of well seasoned meat and cheese. Friendly staff and really good prices. Definitely worth the ride if you are somewhere within an hour.
So decided to take a road trip from Bergen County and drove 1 hour and 20 minutes to try one of the famous cheese steaks and they didn't disappoint. This is by far the best cheese steak I ever had. I am already planning to go again real soon because of how delicious they were. Believe the hype and don't sleep on these tasty steaks.
