Gerri our waitress was amazing Since moving to the west coast i have missed great caring wait staff and even though it was busy our server was on the ball and made me feel like we were her only table. Great food and drink! Spicy burger was a hit and wings and fried mushrooms were wonderful.

Wayne and Larry's restaurant is adjacent to the royal crest bowling alley at 9th and Iowa in Lawrence, KS. The menu is filled with many sandwich selections and regular meals. My favorites are the hamburger, patty melt and chicken fried steak. The french fries are cooked to perfection and the onion rings are nice and crunchy. The waitresses are excellent, friendly and very attentive. If you seek a nice, friendly and laid back restaurant, then Wayne and Larry's is a great choice!

Do not go here. I went here with my mother for a beer and a burger and had one of the worst burgers you could imagine. There burgers are “Juicy” in the greasiest frozen burger patty kind of way. I had a Mac and Cheese burger, I got a gray looking defrosted hamburger that looked and tasted like it sat under there line for days. My side was french fries, how can you mess that up you ask? they were under cooked limp out of the freezer fries(I don't mind freezer fries as long as there cooked). I … – show
