Old Chicago - Lawrence

We were seated quickly. But after 10 minutes of no one taking a drink order and seeing the chaos at tables around us, we left. It seems difficult to train and keep good help, and they weren't able to handle their Saturday night rush.

Stopped in for a beer. Both the selection and customer service were great. Bartender and manager made me feel welcomed for my first time there and encouraged my return.

Good atmosphere. Food was good portion size. One plate came out burnt. Staff immediately took it back and redid it.

Favorite place! The lunch special pizza and salad is delicious!

Did a phone in order for a large Chicago 7 pizza. I arrived to pick it up on time only to get it home (two blocks) to a cold pizza. That was not the worst of it as it tasted old which I believe was the meat on it. After paying over $32 with tip for the pizza, it was disappointing. This is our first disappointment in the local Old Chicago and I believe in giving a second chance. If it's bad again, it will be the last time.
