Restaurant Tratorria Casa Rinacchio

We rolled into Trattoria Casa Rinacchio ridiculously close to closing time on the off chance we could grab something to eat. They happily sat our party of 5. We figured we'd order some pizzas and get out of their hair, but no, they were going to make sure us weary travelers got fed. They encouraged us to get apps (which were delicious and I'm so happy we did). Pizzas arrived about 15 minutes after they were closed and we offered to take them to go so they could go home, but were encouraged to sit and enjoy and they even asked if we wanted dessert (we opted to not trespass on their hospitality any further than we already had). I tell this story not to encourage people to show up so rudely close to closing expecting food, but to tell you how accommodating and kind these folks are. The food is so good even the dinner rolls they brought out before the meal were delicious. For us it worked out to about $14 US per person for an appetizer the table shared (AMPLE food for the five of us), beverages, and pizzas for each person. Inexpensive price tag, but not cheap food. If we lived closer this would be a regular stop for dinner. We'll definitely be back though the next time we're in Laval. Thank you TCR! You rock!

Waitress was nice n service was good , but as an Italian was very disappointed in the food , appetizers calamari were tough, n the mozzarella di bufffola was mozzarella so u pay for something that not topped with parsley instead of basil n lasagna was with sausage does anyone know sausage between pepperoni , because that was pepperoni , Italians know , meat balls weren’t Italian meat balls n the sauce I’m sure there was some kind of starch in it ,sorry but 80$ after we decided no more Italian restaurant for us ?

What i order was not on the menu so i ask to moddified with penne a l arianiata with italien saussice its bin over an hour and the tase is still in my mouth amazing spicy to perfection thank you i hope you taste the food you make so you can reproduce

This was really delicious and the service was fantastic. We showed up a little late and was met by some of the kindest people welcoming them into their restaurant. The food was incredible! We had the bruschetta and bread and then pizzas. Everything was hot, fresh, and very delicious. If/when we come back to the area, I hope to eat here again! He started good but right after I made full payment, stopped responding to my emails. I do not recommend.
