Bidra med feedbackFriendly .Good service and a lot of options even vegan. Definitely another visit.
Dame Tartine restaurant is in one of the oldest houses in the area, with so much of the original structure intact that it is quite a treat to visit. Be sure to go upstairs and have a look around and enjoy the historic features. As for the food and service, it was average. There are many better breakfast places around so do not choose this place if food is your #1 criteria. The french toast and waffles were quite good, but much of the rest was a bit disappointing. The bacon was unevenly cooked, the toast was thin and dry, the fruit unappealing. That being said, I enjoyed being there for the experience more than anything. Also, the location is great since you can pair a meal with a lovely walk along the waterfront.
Worst place for breakfast!! We ordered two Benedictines and a crepe. We asked them to change maple syrup with chocolate for our son for the fruit crepe they refused so we had to order the chocolate banana. Quantities of all orders are miniscule. Banana was almost crunchy and the famous chocolate is a cheap sauces finally. The worst is yet to come shrimp Benedictine had no mushroom as described. A bit cold as food but the potatoes wasn't well cooked crunchy with one side uncooked the other broiled as in the picture. Two waitresses came to ask if the food is okay we mentioned the potato issue but no excuses no action. So why do you ask?
This restaurant provides excellent, simple breakfast options with a hint of elegance. The customer service is warm and polite.
The juice cocktail is a must-avoid. It's just canned fruits thrown into a blender...huge chunks for $5.50. Impossible to drink. However, the meal (the Mr. Sunflower dish) was good. Perfectly cooked eggs.
