After weeks we finally secured a table to use our Brunch voucher for two. I was very disappointed and embarrassed to discover if I left that my Brunch voucher for 2 people could cover only 1/3 of the first price and needed to pay extra....We were told that it was during a festive period brunch, but this was never informed that our voucher would not cover, and we would have to pay extra even if we reserve a picture of our good-looking after. the service manager apologised and explained that other customers had the same problem when using their goodwill so offered two free digestible drinks. but we felt very misleading, disappointed and for that we cannot recommend this restaurant for such a amateur mistake. consultancy for future customers who are gift vouchers, check them before they sit that their vouchers are valid for this day, what the vouchers cover or not and what they will pay as extra. despite the coupon sponges, atmosphere was comfortable, waiter service good, food average, but much to choose if not vegetarian or vegan and never felt rushed as the table was just for one sitting.
Came for a meeting and went with the server recommendation, delicious! the service was great and everyone was very friendly. beautiful environment.
Before covid we often have eaten the restaurant côté jardin, which is part of the lausanner palast complex. we came back in 2021, were not impressed, but wanted to give him another chance in view of the special context in which we all lived....We went back in august 2022 and were so disappointed: the service was extremely slow, although the restaurant was 90% empty. we ordered 3 drinks, including 1 (small) glass champagner at 21 chf. nothing to eat with our drinks (olive, chips, whatever). then we ordered our meals and were never asked about weeping. because no starch food was proposed with his meal, my man ordered rice. What he got was a small bowl with pure white rice. no butter, no petersilie or something. the prices were increased. when we shared our disappointment with the waiter, he asked us to fill out a form that we took the time to complete (with phone number and email address). 3 weeks later we have never been contacted by the restaurant. we are local customers, perhaps the direction only takes care of their international guests!
