Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Laurel

This is a great restaurant! We 've returned time and time again. The owner, when we go on Sundays, is always there. He makes it a point to get to know his repeat customers and remember their names, coming out of the kitchen to check how your meal was and to make light conversation. I always thought that was really nice of him, as busy as he must be. The rest of his staff are always very friendly as well. His store is clean and always well stocked, I don 't believe we 've ever been told sorry we 're all out I 'm sure it does happen from time to time and maybe we 've been lucky but my family has been coming here for years and it just simply has not happened to us. I think this speaks to the management 's dedication and attention to detail!. When a restaurant 's food and service is questionable, we simply do not return. That 's never been the case with Laurel 's Dairy Queen Grill Chill. If it were in the future, our past experiences here would warrant notifying the manager, as we know he would rectify the situation. We have yet to find this necessary. Keep up the great work, guys!

This DQ has the best Blizzard cakes! Better than any other DQ in central and south Mississippi. I 've tried almost all of them.Whoever makes their Blizzard cakes really goes above and beyond to make them well. You can tell they take pride in their job!My only complaint is they are out of the brownie Blizzard cake a lot. As in the last 5 times I went in for one, there weren 't any. The staff can never seem to answer a simple question...when are more being made and when should I come back?They always say, I don 't know. LolAfter this review I may never be able to find one again!!????????

I came through the drive through a few weeks ago and was VERY PLEASED. I wish I could remember the young lady’s name, because she deserves recognition. She was very sweet and she literally had any and everything we needed already available. We didn’t have to ask for anything. She had a great attitude and that’s hard to find these days. Keep up the great work!!

Is there a hot fudge shortage? I asked the woman that when she handed it to me. Then she wouldn 't remake it but gave me a little bit more in another cup. Also, have you noticed the downsizing of the blizzards? The minis now come on what looks like a Dixie cup. Really? I 'll happily go to Dollar General for an ice cream or a grocery for way cheaper. Over $6 for a sundae and a blizzard. You can get a tub of Bluebell for about that much. Had it with DQ. Horrible service, grifting company policies, and they actually have a sign on thier drive up window saying it 's your responsibility to check your order at the window bc they are receiving too many complaints about orders being wrong. And thats after I had to repeat it 4 times. Seriously--I even read it word for word off the menu. Train your people on the menu. But good lord it was just for ice cream. Hey DQ, the customer is NOT the enemy. Won 't be back. Plenty of other choices.

This was a new location for us. We got the $7 deal and it was worth every penny. Service was good.
