Chi'bal Cocina Mexicana Tequila

The food here is good I'd probably come back if I was in the area. I got the steak fajitas and they asked me how I would like it cooked and then actually cooked it that way which doesn't always happen. The cut of meat was good and the vegetables tasted fresh. So why only 3 stars? The service was pretty terrible and it didn't feel like it was a one off day, it felt like this was the norm. The place was pretty empty, but the food came out at different times, so some of us sat there and had to let it get cold while others waited another 15 minutes for their food to arrive. We had to ask multiple times for the food they forgot. We got some pretty spicy sauces but never got water We had to literally hunt the waitress down to just get the check so we could go. Like I said I'd probably come back and give it another chance but with lowered expectations.

Went here w a group of friends on a Friday night. Service was interesting and slow. Food was hot. Menu items were tasty but seemed like the servers took a long time to come back and forth (place was empty when we got there), our bill was inaccurate. Would like to return again but will ask for separate checks next time to avoid any issues w extra fees/ charges and taxes.

Two words: Strawberry. Mojito. The pico and salsas with the pickled red onions were tasty! So was the carne asada.

We went with a party of six on a very slow Sunday. There were 2 tables seated so we were offered to pick whichever suited us best. After our drink orders, we were given water and shortly after ordered our food. The food came out before the drinks. One food never showed up and the server never came back to refill our waters which were all empty. We bought the missing food we ordered to the managers attention as we couldn’t find our server. The manager was totally irresponsible. Instead of handling the matter himself, he kept sending back the server. We had all finished eating and asked to have the item removed from the bill which was done. The food was not seasoned at all. It was so bland that we didn’t even care to take the rest home. We asked to have the bill split which appeared to be a problem and were eventually given the wrong bills. Then our credit card wasn’t returned to us and again, the manager kept sending the server back instead of handling the issues himself as she was unable to correct the bills. The only great thing here were the drinks but I would not eat here again.
