Azteca Grill - Laurel

I'm not sure why no one has reviewed this place or why it has poor ratings. I could love this place because I'm basing it solely on my carry out experience but call it what you want this place is LEGIT. A friend of mine recommended this place after he tried it on a whim. The food he had smelled SOOO GOODI had to try it. I ordered the steak fajita to go and a cheese pupusa. The steak fajita was seasoned with peppers and onions and filled the to go container. Be careful because the juices can leak out the container. The rice and beans were in separate containers stuffed to the brim. I got the corn tortillas, you can tell they are home made, I'm just personally not a fan but the pupusa, first time trying one and I loved it! The steak was tender and there was as much steak as there was grilled veggies. Thanks for not skimping on the meat. I have a healthy appetite and I had some steak and veggies to throw in my omelet the next morning. Will I be back? Indeed so!

To be honest I loved this place absolutely, but in the last 2 months it really went downhill her personal must learn how to wrap a dang burrito, it is like 2 pfu wet meat held together with a paper cloth. it does not use definitiw to be so so the audacity of a place they sell $5 guac with no chips this place is delicious, and certainly better than many mex places here. but to see the wasted potential and know how it was earlier this year. it's very sad. I hope it changes back

Good wasn't ready when I arrived, but it was so good I wasn't too mad. The scenery working there didn't hurt either

Ordered food via Doordash from this place for the first time. It was a waste of money and most of the food we got we threw out. The enchiladas were not edible. Even upon looking at them, it seems the sauce looked like someone just added ketchup on top of them. Took one bite and it tasted to me like cheap tomato sauce. Could not eat them. Ate some of the beef nachos but they were very dry and not tasty. Even accounting for delivery time, they seemed more dry than they should have been. Fortunately, I had a side of refried beans that came with the enchiladas. Adding that helped with the taste and dryness. The chicken quesadillas were ok. They were the only dish we got that was at least decent but not the best I've had. Given this was my first experience with that restaurant, I can't say if this was a normal experience or not but the next time I want Mexican food I will be looking elsewhere. Any suggestions, let me know.

OK so came here for a quick meal. They don't have tap drinks so bottle of water is $2 and of course the drinks come with no refills. Their chips and salsa are super gross. Their home spicy salsas come in a trio, that was cool. My husband's burrito was the biggest I have seen in my whole life and he actually enjoyed his food but that's about it. My food was a mixed fajita but I have def have better. My shrimp came with the shell and def not clean. Save yourself and go to Tampico a few streets down.
