Sensebruecke - Laupen Be

After a 14km cycle in 30+ temperatures, we stopped off for drinks and a portion of chips, which cost an outrageous 9.50. After paying for the bill, I asked for a glass of tap water for my wife. The lady behind the bar proceeded to pour a wine glass measure of water and after asking for a larger glass, I was told that anything larger is not “gratis”. I think that’s an atrocious attitude given the current heatwave. It’s not as if we’d sat and only drank water; we’d spend almost 25. on drinks and food. Most establishments would be happy to serve cold water to guests. We will not be returning in a hurry.

Always worth a visit, very good lunch menu and courteous staff. A pearl in Laupen!

The food was very good, we were able to easily share a starter, the very large Cordonbleu was offered to be packed up to take with us. The service was very friendly and attentive, the boss personally came to the table

The best food! We have been eating here for many years at family reunions/birthdays with my husband or with friends, the service and food have always been top, my favorite restaurant! I love the game season the most here, highly recommended.

Wir haben das Curry Schaumsüppchen und das Roastbeef Teller probiert war sehr lecker!! Die Bedienung war freundlich. Für uns war es ein toller Stopp auf unserer Velotour und sehr weiterzuempfehlen!
