Bidra med feedbackThe best coffee in the city, the baristas are old milk master and eating is always great!
In any case. I am really surprised that they have a super busy vegetarian caffe and have the smallest menu with hardly any vegan option no imaginative vegan food on it. we went a long way for avo, mushroom and spinat on toast, that was $26! menu said smoothies, but it was just bottle juice. I really wanted to cook something epos when I come to home! more vegan options and tasty at a omni place, it's crazy! updated by previous review on 2022-01-07
My salat was beautiful, but not amazing, a little expensive, but love the mood of the place. a few more interesting options would be awesome
Sweetbrew is a vege restaurant with vegan options for most dishes. We stayed in Launceston two days and ate at Sweetbrew both days. The well crafted menu is full of superb food. We had pancakes (vego), falafels, smashed avocado, chia pudding and porridge. I did wish they’re have a vegan option for pancakes because I’d definitely have chosen them. Their coffee and chai tea were both delicious. The chai was leaf not powder and whatever soy they use does not overwhelm the coffee. They were able to cater to our various gluten and nut allergies with ease. The staff were really friendly and seemed to know a lot of regulars by name. It’s a popular cafe which is always a good sign but the food still came out reasonably quickly.
We had breakfast here around 8am on a Friday morning and it was packed. Obviously doing something rightFood service was slow (waited half an hour the meals) but this might have been a one off. Chef was sure under the pump. Delicious food worth waiting for and we weren’t in any hurry. I had miso wild mushrooms without the goat cheese. Beautiful flavours and a huge serving. Amazing.
