Empire Bar - LATHLAIN

Nice dinner with family. Good food service. Great to have tv screen in view. Bit loud in the dining area with the adjoining bar but it was a Sat night so to be expected. Will be back.

Went to empire bar for lunch. I have specific dietary constraints, the chef and staff were caring and I was able to order a meal. I would highly recommend this facility.

I ordered the fish and chips which had the perfect amount of chips but the fish portion was a bit small - another piece would have been ideal. However, the quality of the battered fish was excellent, and the coleslaw was smooth and tasty, though a bit more would have been appreciated. The steamed vegetables were small but cooked well. Overall, the Empire restaurant has improved since our last visit, but there is still room for further improvement. The $26 price tag for the fish and chips was a bit higher than other places I have visited this month, but the chef and staff did a great job. Well done!

This restaurant can best be described as an American-style bar. Upon entering, I noticed a good variety of beers on tap and a nice bar area. However, I didn't feel that it was particularly remarkable. While it may appeal to those who enjoy the American bar scene, it didn't stand out to me. Despite having a decent beer garden and lounge area, it didn't leave a lasting impression on me. Personally, I would likely choose to skip this place.

The restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area and a cozy atmosphere inside as well. I received a generous portion of delicious fish and chips. Although it was a bit pricey for lunch, the portion size made up for it. Overall, a great dining experience.
