Todd English P.U.B. - Las Vegas

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to write them. let me first say that my man, whom I had previously often dined at this site, when it was todd english pub, considered it one of our favorite LV restaurants. now, no longer especially, since todd english is no longer connected to the restaurant. mgm the restaurants made a big mistake. I had read some of the negative reviews, but wanted to know for me so that we at the pub at our last trip to lv ate. it was a Saturday evening our first warning how bad it would be was how empty the restaurant was when we arrived for our 7pm reservation. the menu at the pub is nowhere near as extensive as before. when our animals arrived, we ordered a few sandwiches, a hamburger for my man a grilled chicken sandwich for me. then we waited. now I could understand a delay when the restaurant was busy or overcrowded, but that was not the case. At any rate, our food finally arrived (now almost 7:45). that's when they turned around the worse. my man ordered a medium-burger, but it was well prepared. my grilled chicken sandwich had no grill marks on it, as if the chicken had cooked, not grilled. it was really tasteless inedible. I took 1 bite of the pickle that was on the plate, did not take any other bite. my man did the same. the only thing that tasted good were the French the beer. During all this, the waitress never came back to the table to check us how our meals were, even though she went from our table 2-3 times. When she finally stopped at our table to ask if we wanted another round beer, I told her I couldn't eat that sandwich to take it away. she asked if I wanted something else I said no to her. Actually, I didn't want to risk anything else. she took my meal from our bill. of course we will not go back.

The service at this restaurant was fantastic and we took advantage of their happy hour, which was a pleasant break from the high prices of Vegas. It was quiet enough to have a conversation, but still had a great atmosphere for a pub-style restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to friends and would go back again!

Be warned – deadd english is no longer connected to the pub. this is now the equivalent of a moderately neighboring or chain restaurant. the ambiente is not even a good pub button. eating is a step over terrible: the fried pickel were fat, the burger was standard and the prime rib was hard. the service was ok. no reason to spend the or calorie here.

I've been eating at The Pub for decades (back when it was the Todd English Pub . I like the new changes! Same great food and drink, but lower prices and a killer happy hour. There's a reason all the locals flock to this place :

Was upset to find out that this restaurant is no longer a Todd English restaurant and the recipes have changed. It used to carry unique items, now it is just a pub that you can find anywhere. So sad.
